IntraLase Laser

Vision Eye Institute Southline’s IntraLase Laser is the first step in laser eye surgery and is used to create a flap without the use of a blade

The Benefits

  • A blade-free way of creating the corneal flap that has replaced the microkeratome (a mechanical device that uses a metal blade)
  • Creation of the flap only takes around 30 seconds per eye
  • Safer, more accurate and delivers better results

  • Three Steps to Better Vision

The IntraLase Laser creates a micro thin flap in the outer layers of the cornea.

The flap is then lifted and the underlying tissue reshaped with the Excimer Laser, correcting your vision problem.

The flap is repositioned where it seals naturally without the need for stitches.
